Dive Los Coronado Islands, Mexico—just 15 miles south of San Diego's Point Loma. With diving visibility
averaging between 50' – 150', and common encounters with Sea Lions, Harbor Seals, octopus, Horn Sharks, Moray Eels, Garibaldi's and purple coral – this is diving you won't soon forget.
Explore local wrecks like the Ruby E, a retired Coast Guard cutter, sunk in 1989 (Max depth 90 feet) or San Diego’s wreck diving jewel, the "HMCS Yukon". A Canadian destroyer (McKenzie class), that was sunk as part of the San Diego Oceans Foundation artificial reef program.
VIS 15-80+ FEET / some current at times / water temps typically 62-67 degrees for the wrecks. A 7mm wetsuit (or dry suit!) with hoods and gloves is advised. Also – bring jackets to stay warm on deck.
Sign up for your WRECK Diver certification! Perfect time to earn a specialty toward your Master Scuba Diver. Course price of $225 includes your PADI materials and C-Card. Two days of diving required – the 4 wreck dives are planned for Friday and Saturday.

Charter departs from Mission Bay - 1617 Quivira Road, Suite B. Check it out… http://waterhorsecharters.com/. You can store your dive gear with Waterhorse Charters in their locked facility if you like. This will eliminate the need to haul it back and forth from your hotel.
Bring your own dive equipment (tanks and weights provided). Dive insurance, safety sausage & dive alert strongly advised. You MUST have your C-CARD with you.
